Insurance & Reimbursement
We currently accept Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CareFirst, and TRICARE.
For TRICARE, families pay for sessions upfront. We submit claims on your behalf, and TRICARE reimburses you directly. Some plans require a referral from your PCM. Reimbursement varies by plan and referral status.
If we do not accept your insurance, we are considered an out-of-network provider. We’re happy to explain next steps and answer insurance-related questions during your consult call.

I am deeply committed to helping individuals thrive emotionally, academically, and personally. My background as a school counselor and in private practice has given me the opportunity to support children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families as they navigate anxiety, grief, relationship stress, and major life transitions. My approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from narrative, existential, person-centered, and solution-focused therapies as well as Gottman Method and IFS. I believe that healing begins with connection, and my goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward with confidence.
Music has always been a source of connection and peace for me—I sang in a co-ed a cappella group during and after college and still find joy in making music with others. I was born in the UK and spent part of my childhood overseas in Russia and Uzbekistan, which gave me a strong appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and recharging through meaningful connections.

I’m passionate about working with young adults and teens navigating anxiety, self-worth concerns, attachment-based challenges, perfectionism, relationship dynamics, life transitions, and bicultural identity. Before beginning my clinical training and master’s program at William & Mary, I worked in higher education supporting college students, which shaped my interest in helping young people build resilience and navigate periods of change.
My approach is attachment-based, emotion-focused, and trauma-informed, grounded in how relationships, culture, and environment shape emotional well-being. I aim to create a comfortable, authentic space where you can show up as your full self - with vulnerability, humor, and everything in between.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, facing social stressors, navigating difficult transitions, or carrying pressure to “have it all together,” I’m here to support you. We’ll make sense of past experiences, identify patterns, and build healthier connections that support personal growth. I believe meaningful change happens through a trusting therapeutic relationship that helps calm the noise and supports practical, sustainable ways forward.

I especially enjoy working with tweens, teens, and young adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodiversity, and LGBTQIA+ identity-related challenges. I’m drawn to helping clients during these formative years because so much growth and self-discovery happen during this time. My approach is strength-focused, meeting clients where they are and helping them recognize their resilience and inner capabilities. I often incorporate elements of DBT to support emotional regulation, mindfulness, and distress tolerance, as well as creative tools like music, art, film, or storytelling to help clients express themselves authentically. My goal is for each session to feel safe, validating, and empowering—where clients leave with something tangible to support their growth and healing.
Outside of counseling, I’m usually working on a home renovation project—even if I’m learning as I go! I love the process of problem-solving and creating something new. I’m a big fan of fall weather and everything cozy—sweatshirts, crisp air, camping trips, and “cozy video games” before bed are some of my favorite ways to unwind.

I provide therapy for children (ages 6+), teens (12+), and adults who are seeking support through life’s challenges, transitions, and emotional struggles. Whether you’re a parent worried about your child’s behavior, a teen feeling lost in the pressure of growing up, or an adult trying to navigate anxiety or low self-worth. I’m here to walk alongside you with care, compassion, and a clear plan forward.
With a background as a school counselor, I bring a deep understanding of child and adolescent development into the therapy room. I know how emotional distress in young people often shows up as behavior changes-outbursts, withdrawal, school refusal, or difficulty connecting with others. My work with children and teens centers on building trust and creating a space where they can safely explore big feelings, understand their emotional experiences, and build skills to cope and thrive.
For children, therapy may involve play, emotional learning, and building tools to better express and regulate their feelings. For teens, I offer a supportive environment to explore identity, manage peer or academic stress, and work through feelings of anxiety, loneliness, or disconnection. My approach is collaborative-I start by meeting with parents or caregivers to understand the full picture, then work individually with your child or teen to build a relationship grounded in trust and respect.
In my work with adults, I support individuals navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, identity questions, relationship challenges, or grief. Life can be overwhelming, and it’s not uncommon to feel stuck or unsure of how to move forward. Together, we’ll uncover patterns that no longer serve you, and build practical strategies that align with your values and goals.
I am especially passionate about supporting individuals and families from underserved communities. I recognize the unique barriers these populations face when accessing mental health care, and I strive to offer a space that is culturally responsive, affirming, and inclusive.
My practice is shaped by a commitment to equity and social justice, and I work to ensure that all clients feel seen, respected, and empowered.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to support healing and growth. My style is warm, direct, and goal-oriented- I believe in therapy that feels practical, personal, and powerful.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin therapy. You just need a willingness to explore and a safe space to do it in. Whether you’re here for yourself or for someone you love, I invite you to take that first step. Together, we can work toward clarity, connection, and lasting change.
If you’re ready to get started, I always offer a 20-min consult to see if we are a good fit. I’d love to help you or a member of your family get the help they need to live better.

I provide therapy for children, preteens, and teens who are navigating emotional or behavioral challenges at school or at home. Whether it’s anxiety, big emotions, low self-esteem, or trouble communicating with parents and peers, I help young people find healthier ways to understand and express what they’re feeling. Many of the kids I work with feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck- and often, these emotions show up as withdrawal, irritability, academic struggles, or conflict at home.
My goal is to build a safe, supportive space where kids and teens feel seen, heard, and understood. I focus on building a strong connection first, so they can feel comfortable enough to open up. From there, we work together on developing emotional regulation, building confidence, and learning practical tools to manage the ups and downs of life.
As a Resident in Counseling with a background in school counseling, I understand firsthand the academic and social pressures kids are facing today. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, and play-based techniques to meet clients where they are developmentally. I also value collaboration with parents and caregivers to support change at home in meaningful ways.
Therapy with me is all about creating small, steady shifts that help kids and teens feel more in control of their emotions and more hopeful about what’s ahead. If you’re a parent looking for someone who truly gets kids, I’d love to be part of your child’s support system.
I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation to help determine if we’re a good fit. I’d love to hear more about what’s going on and how I can support your child or teen.
